The 4th Meeting of the Office Furniture Professional Committee of China National Furniture Association inaugurates in Guangzhou and Lamex is proud to be selected as the executive chairman of the committee.
Hosted by the Office Furniture Professional Committee of the China National Furniture Association, the preparatory session for the 4th Meeting of the Office Furniture Professional Committee took place in Guangzhou on January 7, 2020. Ms. Tu Qi, Vice Chairman of China National Furniture Association, Mr. Liang Naxin, Chairman of Guangzhou Furniture Industry Association, Ms. Chen Yun, Secretary General of Guangzhou Furniture Industry Association, senior representatives from Lamex and other furniture brands, the Liaoning Furniture Association, the Shunde Furniture Association, the Zhongshan Office Furniture Industry Association, Hangzhou’s Furniture Chamber of Commerce and leaders of several leading companies attended the meeting.
Ms. Tu Qi, Vice Chairman of China National Furniture Association, read the "Preparation Report for the 4th Session of the Office Furniture Professional Committee of China National Furniture Association", which states that the new office committee is to focus on the leading role of entrepreneurs and on strengthening the committee's works. The committee was also tasked to elect the companies with substantial history, enterprise size and industry influence, and its head to become the committee chairman. The committee features an Executive Chairman Unit led by an Executive Chairman to further advance the Association’s tasks. The Committee will concentrate on four areas: expanding the reach of the committee itself, enhancing the exhibition platform, better integration of the association's resource, and providing insights and information to members.
Mr. Liang Naxin, president of Guangzhou Furniture Industry Association, congratulated the organizer of the preparatory meeting and expressed the hope that the professional office furniture committee will help promote the growth of members.
The meeting acknowledged the “Working Regulations of the Office Furniture Professional Committee of the China National Furniture Association” and the “Nomination List of the Fourth Organization of the Office Furniture Professional Committee of the China National Furniture Association”. Pursuant to the requirements of the special committee, Ms. Tu Qi, the vice chairman of the China National Furniture Association, was nominated as chairman, while Lamex was selected as one of the executive chair units, with several other enterprises elected as chairing unit, and Mr. Lin Weiliang, the secretary-general of the China National Furniture Association Economic (International) Cooperation Department, acted as Secretary-General of the Special Committee. All relevant motions were endorsed by participants.
During the meeting, several business representatives shared their in-depth insights how to foster the healthy and stable development of the office furniture industry. Participants expressed their views on topics like brand cross-overs, market research, standards benchmarking, reasonable competition and cross-industry cooperation. Participants also affirmed and supported the work direction of the committee.
This preparatory meeting is a crucial event for the China National Furniture Association, as it enables participants from throughout the industry to work together on shaping the future of the office furniture industry. In addition to finalizing the working structure of the committee, discussing new working regulations and operational systems and organizational structures, the session enabled committee members to share their views and develop new communication channels. The secretariat of the committee is now set to carefully study the suggestions and opinions made by the participants during the meeting, sort out relevant documents, improve our admission process, and begin organizing the fourth meeting of the office furniture professional committee of the China National Furniture Association.
